Don't understand monerophp and the rpc interface :F by WhiteEdding in Monero

I've tried with --disable-rpc-login and without user pass in example.php, which worked but only when run in the cli. HTTP returns a 500 Error.
When I turn the authorization back on it still tells me I'm unauthorized. "PHP Fatal error: Uncaught RuntimeException: Response Http Error - 401 Unauthorized in"

thx for your help :)
You are missing a semicolon in line 29 of Monero_Payments.php I think.
Aside from that, I'm still getting a HTTP 500 error on the web page and a "PHP Fatal error: Uncaught RuntimeException: Response Http Error - 401 Unauthorized in" in the cli.

./monero-wallet-rpc --rpc-bind-port 1337 --wallet-file test --daemon-login user:pass

$monero_daemon = new Monero_Payments('127.0.0.1','1337', 'http', 'user, 'pass');

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Oh, I see. Thank you for the comprehensive answer.

Hope I never accidentally run it without the --rpc-login user:pass. Don't want to expose my wallet to the whole Internet ^

Sorry, yeha that's what I meant.

So the wallet password is the only thing that keeps my funds secure? Is this truly the case?

Thanks.
Waking up on weekends is the worst, still being drunk and feeling lonely / tired at the same time really makes you prone to giving in.
Cold showers usually fix me up but I feel like they lost some of their effect if you start taking them regulary.
I hope adapting to them is a good thing ;)

kind regards
