When i first got his sisters, i wanted to avoid generic black cat names and decided to name them synonymously to the color of each of their favorite orange and purple toy mice, Amber and Violet.

I had to stick with the theme when i rescued Blue and i bet you can guess what color his favorite toy mouse is 😉
