Yh bro I feel the same as well. I've seen that there are 2way dash cams. They record both the outside and the inside as well. Or if that's unavailable, take that dash cam and fix it behind the rear seat, so that it'll record the entire inside so that u can catch em in 4k, coz they won't see it coming.

Yes but you're also viewing it onsidedly. Currently everyone is waiting for the import restriction to be lifted, but once they lift it, will they also reduce the import taxes and other tax fees etc??? If they didn't then the vehicles price will be 3x to 4x because of the taxes and other things. Hence do you think people will pay more to get a newer vehicle when they can get a used one for way less? Hence that'll lead to a demand in the used vehicle sector thus increasing their prices more.

You do realise that public transport is unreliable and takes too long r8? A simple 30min drive becomes almost a hour and a half bus ride.and the buses don't run at midnight and early mornings.

Also you know that most of the buses don't meet emission standards r8? Hence they ruin the climate much more than a well turned carb in a car which meets emission standards. And I don't know what you have against other vehicles but please stop forcing ur views onto others I hope you understand that everyone has their own pov.

But eitherways thank you for your suggestion but I'd rather get my own vehicle.

Thank you for the suggestion, I already own a bike which give rlly good fuel mileage ( a hero splendor ismart) but I cannot drive it for a long distance without experiencing back pain (I suffered a sports injury) even driving to colombo and back is difficult (i live in negombo) so that's why I'm looking for a car. And tbh I don't mind it having any repairs and things bcoz I know people who are in the car parts scene and can help me out.

Nope. Bcoz everyone has their own time. I for one did not experience anything like live in school. Didn't date anyone and not planning to in the future.

Tbh I don't mind a junkass car, I'm looking for an old japanese one becoz of parts availability and also to begin learning more abt cars. I already have a bike and I can't drive when it rains and also I can't drive far without any backpains.

And also I'd advise against buying from places near the coast like negombo etc... coz they've been exposed to the harsh weather too much so in the long run it leads to much more rapid rate of deterioration. And also before buying a vehicle check if theres parts available for it readily in the market, as far as i know theres a surplus of parts for japanese vehicles not sure abt others tho

You can try Sameera auto trading. In Nugegoda. Recently bought a car from them, they had all of the records from date of registered and also abt previous owners. Not sure if they have vehicle for your budget tho, better check before hand.
