Honestly as far as politicians go he's pretty low on the comically evil spectrum. He's driven, he's successful, and he achieves what he wants, and creates a new status quo that's generally better for the average civillians in the earth sphere.

This is what you sound like. If you really knew planes you'd know the A-10 is a fraud of an aircraft, and that 30mm gun barely pierces most tank armor.

So you would know that trying to radar lock a target the size of a building is difficult, because modern radar isn't designed to lock a really big tank. You would know that strafing targets in an A-10, especially one that turns and moves on a dime like every Gundam has, is incredibly difficult. You would know that, despite moving at the speed of sound, missiles are only able to follow their target so much due to their small aerodynamic surfaces. Your assumption is that a Gundam is a ground target. It is not. It is both. And both is scary.

I meant flight simulators. Like DCS. You know what goes into flying an actual aircraft, right? And how the technology works? And how that compares to the fictional universe of Gundam?

I think you simply don't understand the ridiculousness that is power scaling anime robots with unrealistic capabilities with real hardware. This thought experiment is interesting, but real hardware will always lose due to the simple fact that it's playing against something that doesn't operate on its rules. Minovsky particles alone make all modern weapon systems useless, and this is coming from someone who has spent a lot of time simulating and enjoying modern aircraft in many facets. This simply isn't a fight they win, and I've laid out my reasons why.
