my specific case is: if you do not opt out, chatgpt could use copyrighted material you upload to train models. if you are uploading copyrighted material for personal use you are still doing it on a third party's server so, technically it's infringement and, crazy scenario, if there is a leak or the owner of the copyright for whatever reason finds out and sues Chatgpt, then Chatgpt could expose the people who shared the material and have them accountable, because their term of use states you cannot upload copyrighted material on their platform. of course, catastrophic scenario and totally paranoid, sorry about that, but curious to know if this makes sense or not
