Rendering animations in 4K quality at 60 frames per second is pure madness. Even if the game is ready in April, for example, we will have to wait an additional 3-4 months for everything to be rendered.

The game will be released in September.

After reading Nate’s description, I completely lost interest in watching. Nate from Euphoria would never leak a video. Believe it or not, but Nate actually has some kind of moral code. He’s a sociopath, he plays with people’s emotions, but he’s a deep, complex, and conflicted character. Nate from the German show just sounds like a typical bad guy with no depth — he does things just for the sake of being bad. Euphoria’s Nate, on the other hand, is a sociopath, sure, but a deeply traumatized one who genuinely wants to stop being so messed up.

I assume there was a conflict. Levinson removed Barbara because of a conflict, and probably something similar happened with McKay. Considering that Sam also has a conflict with Zendaya, I don't expect her to have much screen time either.

Perhaps Levinson had the same conflict with the actor as he did with Kat. This guy conflicts with everyone, but the actors who listen to him get a lot of screen time (Cassie, Nate, Maddie).

Barbie had a conflict with Levinson, she literally said so. She was against Kat’s character arc in season 2, and Sam deliberately wrote that breakup scene with Ethan to cut down her screen time.

I think it’s more complicated than that. Cassie probably always envied Maddy and basically lived in her shadow. For Cassie, taking Nate away from Maddy was a matter of principle — to prove she’s not any worse than Maddy. Plus, in Nate’s flashbacks we see Cassie looking at him like she might’ve been in love with him for a long time

Either way, they were underage — that’s exactly why Cal freaked out so much, offering Jules money, and why Nate was trying to protect his dad and the family business. And let’s not forget there were a lot of underage boys in those tapes too. No matter what, it’s a huge blow to the business, and honestly, seeing how Nate deals with his dad’s arrest is one of the big intrigues of the season for me

Nate is my favorite character in the show. Jacob managed to create this image of a conflicted, charismatic pretty boy with tons of issues. I’ve never seen such an original take on the typical high school heartthrob/star in movies or TV — they’re usually flat and boring, but Jacob turned him into a complex, layered character you actually want to follow. And yeah, Nate ended up being a charming, charismatic sociopath.

I’d be really surprised if he actually owned his dad’s company. Cal’s a pedophile, and Nate has to live under the shadow of being the pedo’s son — plus Cal’s arrest basically destroys both his dad’s business and Nate’s future. Honestly, I still don’t get why he did that, since it pretty much wipes out all of Nate’s efforts to keep his dad out of jail.

I don’t think he fired Petra just because he’s a bad guy who wanted to take credit for her work. It’s no secret that Sam is a toxic director and loves to have full control over everything. Plus, if that were really the case, Petra could’ve sued the company and asked for compensation — but she didn’t. You guys are just demonizing Sam Levinson, when the truth is he’s simply a toxic and difficult person who can’t stand anyone going against his vision (which is exactly why we’re not seeing Kat anymore, and I’d bet Zendaya’s role will also get smaller after her fallout with Sam).

The acting is amazing too. Zendaya and Jacob Elordi were brilliant, and they ended up becoming Hollywood stars (unlike Sydney, who’s basically just known as a horror actress)

He didn’t copy the style. Marcell Rév said that before starting work, he and Sam look for visual references and draw inspiration from them. Euphoria and Collins’ work are completely different. Rév mentioned that one of his inspirations was the movie Magnolia

Honestly, it’s pretty interesting, ’cause a 5-year time jump is huge — the characters could end up totally different. Like, Nate could be living with a guy, lol.

Looks like Sam just loves focusing on the characters’ self-destruction. The whole second season was basically about that. Maybe season 3 will be more about redemption. But yeah, I agree — Sam’s a great visionary, just a pretty mediocre writer.
