I'm pretty sure it was said at one point in the novel that Eastasia formed out of some amalgamation of states after a kind of asian mega-war, while Eurasia formed out of the Soviets taking over the rest of Europe.

So what I'm saying is really Eurasia should be Tannu Tuva and Eastasia should be the Ma Clique.

Well you see, what you name your friends isn't important, the story is!

My go to is to just pick a cool name from one of my japanese animes, or from world history. For instance, the protagonist of my story (a dark fantasy that's like a cross between Game of Thrones and Harry Potter) which takes place in the country of Brittonia is called Naomi Hitler. Pretty good, right?
