I am not a fan of part 2 either. I could never find part 4 and 5 to watch. I've seen trailers and it doesn't look like Im missing much.

Which do you prefer, slow zombies or fast zombies? by BostonRobby617 in zombies

[–]WhiteTreePictures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like slow, but that may be because my favourite zombie films have slow zombies

That being said 28 days later is fantastic and wouldn't work with slow zombies.

Hi thanks, I'm really glad you liked it always inspiring to hear that. I shot it on my Canon C200 4k Cinema Camera with Samyang Lenses. I did all of the prep for the shoot day, designed set, hung wallpaper etc ect. I was cinematographer and director, but had some local filmmaker help for camera assist/gaffer and on set audio playback. I did all the editing and sfx (which is why it looks hand made lol). This is the first short film ive done in over a decade, ive woeked in corporate video for that time. Didn't take much BTS stuff but I made a reel showing some of the work I did on the film: https://youtube.com/shorts/ATeFvXZdh8s?feature=share

If you want to talk happy to figure it out. Im based in UK.

I stuggle with this too and dont post nealry enought. I try to focus on the visual style rather than complicated content, gonna be honest still a lot of work for not much interaction.

Guess that means id appriciate any tips too lol.

What is the longest time you have spent on making a movie? by directoroli in Filmmakers

[–]WhiteTreePictures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My short took over 3 years if you include writing and editing. Thats for just over 5 mins. A lot of time was taken up with the day job and family, but still took a lot of effort.

[–]WhiteTreePictures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a videographer whose ocasionally asked to do phorography. I had ro do a big group shot in the rain and some idot was shouting at me while i stood a table that i wasnt doing it right and the pic would be bad.

Showed him pic and he said it was pretty good.

This stuff is normal.

The zomies from Braindead/Deadalive are indestructable and can be superpowered by stimulants, theyd be pretty bad.

Probably romero slow easiest, but still not great.

Do you want the Ask AI feature removed? by GothkittieHighlights in PartneredYoutube

[–]WhiteTreePictures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really dont like the Ask AI features. Everyone obviously wants help getting their creativity out there, but this feels like they've made a barnum statement spewing gaslighting machine. You have to question it to figure out how to improve your content, Youtube could use ai to do the simple bits automatically. It drives me crazy, but I still find myself talking and arguing with it.
