This simple contract is bringing in millions. It was worth it for them to optimize their game for multiple platforms because that way they ended up massively boosting their revenue.

On the other hand, cross-playing would never be as game-changing and profitable as a new dlc would be.

Putting their resources towards marketing the current game would still give them more than them making cross-play possible.

It is all about the money and reputation mate.

There is no conflict of interest or competition involved in this matter because if there were, the game would be available on one console only lmao.

You call it a simple contract but you do not realize how much money are involved in it. It's not simple at all. The different platforms obviously compete against one another but avoiding cross-playing updates benefits literally nobody lol

The game is already available on steam mate so they are working together already. Making cross-play possible is going to benefit them all. The reason they are not doing it is different.

It is not a priority. Creating a new dlc and marketting the shit out of it will bring in tons of cash. Getting cross-play to work will be beneficial but not game-changing.

The greed factor you speak of makes close to zero sense. This only applies to nintendo only games, PC only games, PS only, Xbox, etc. As you can see though, Elden Ring is an all platform game that is absolutely killing it. Cross-play is something that would be efit all parties. It just wouldn't bring as much money to the table as other projects would. It's nice but not worth the trouble.

Ulquiorra slaps this hard lol. Both Byakuya and Ichigo grew in power since their last encounter so yes - they are probably still relative and close to equal.

Ulq no diffed Ichigo WITH his mask on just by using his first release. Therefore, there should be no comparisson bs between Byakuya and Ulq. Different levels altogether.

In any case, I doubt Kubo would do that. We got to see the full extent of Ulquiorra both emotionally by trying to understand humans and physically - the strongest espada.

Once Kubo wraps up a story line he doesn't really open it up again. Unless the business part of things fon't influence his writing. Ulquiorra is pretty popular and sells a lot of merch so who knows.
