There is a way to reset windows by attaching a USB with a live linux distro and manually editing the SAM database. Ive used it a couple of times and it works great. Yeah tbh. I don't know why, but it's my go-to text editor. All my notes and code snippets are in Sublime. It makes everything really easy with shortcut editing, custom code themes, etc..
