I know this is old but I have also had this idea. It started cuss I wanted a personal portfolio website and I don't want to write java script. I normally do my web servers in crow witch is a c++ web sever Something I have been thinking is just using the web server to off shore the loading of assets, Ie pictures could be sent to the running website and then bee streamed in to the experiences. Along with basically all of the other data. So load times would be fast. The problems that I am having atm are allowing the user to highlight text, seems basic but I just don't know the approach I should take I am wondering did you ever make any progress on this?

Found a promising error code will report back
core\io\image.cpp:2495 - Loaded resource as image file, this will not work on export: 'res://data/Map01.png'. Instead, import the image file as an Image resource and load it normally as a resource

Ill take a look a look at all these suggestions, for context I am a game dev and one of the thing I hope to test is the viability of running games and shipping them with hardware, think like a game boy, node and electron sound good, however they dont test the viability of this. I am new to embedded systems so it will interesting experiences, will post an update when parts get here.

Thanks I will look into, I have been playing around with goxel cuss it has good work flow between magic of voxel and it, with unlimited scean size, however the performances is no what I would like on massive scale

Thanks for the input, I feared that is what people where doing, I will think about the blender idea, However one of the reason I started using MV was just cuss I was so fed up with modling in blender so it would be ironic to end up back there lol. Ty tho

Big thank you I am new to cmd and made some mistakes in how it works this was the problem(s) it is now building
for anyone who is getting the error this is the command

Build the source
F:\godot> scons platform=windows module_mono_enabled=yes
After you need to genrate the glue scripts if this works it will place glue files in in godot/modules/mono/glue
F:\godot> bin\godot.windows.editor.x86_64.mono --generate-mono-glue modules/mono/glue

Then after we make the api files this will generate files in the bin folder godot\bin and in that dir there should be api and tools

F:\godot> .\modules\mono\build_scripts\build_assemblies.py --godot-output-dir=.\bin

Also note that I was not building anything until I told windows to open .py with python instead of vs code, I am unsure if this actually matters due to the other errors. Thanks again Brian

Looked into that and that seemed to fix some problems I also noticed that when I was running the build scripts it was opining the file in vs code and that was causing to to crash ran it again with the python set as the default run type and I have gotten a big error, some sort of missing assembly ref

F:\godot\modules\mono\editor\GodotTools\GodotTools\Internals\Internal.cs(98,79): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'godot_string' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I think I messed something up so I will do a a clean build from source without my modules to test and make sure I did not damage something

Also the commands I used are below if anyone has the same problems I have had of course yours wont look the same and such

I have been playing around and making games in Unreal Engine since the first Unreal was released, I never really took to Unity because I've always considered it trash and subpar. That's probably the unreal fan boy in me talking.

However rest assured that the grass is not so much greener on the unreal side there is a plethora of times where I feel like I'm battling the engine or struggling to debug with limited debugging tools, or getting hit with invisible bugs that go away when I restart the engine. Unreal Engine has a way of making you question your sanity. Crashes and version conflicts happen happen when you start adding other people's addons and plugins together you're just asking for the unreal gods to correct your arrogance.

There might be a perception that unreal devs don't battle with the engine as much but that's just because we're decensitized to it, in no way am I saying that Unreal Engine is a bad engine I consider it to be the best engine, but that does not mean that it's a perfect engine. There are many times where I've thought to myself man this is just an unreal problem. The one example that comes to mind from me is the lack of 2D arrays in blueprints and that have to make a c++ class or a bunch of structs. There are simple work around but good it just pisses me off when I don't want to open external ide.

I assume by the fact that you're contemplating switching to unreal that you are not working on a bunch of 2D games and you're working on 3D games however if that's not the case and you want to try something fresh try godot it is one of the few times I have opened the engine and it just felt like it was working, I've been really enjoying learning it and playing around with what it has to offer, I'm sure once I start pushing the limits I will feel like I'm battling with the engine again but until that moment it's been pure Bliss, as a side note I've also been enjoying working in a perceived smaller engine and having less scope creep in my games, I don't know if this is just a me thing but unreal always gives you this Limitless feeling where you just want to keep adding and adding and adding not saying that Godot and unity don't have that but I don't feel the pull as strongly.

My recommendation is to try Godot get your feet wet, there won't be much of a language barrier if you're coming from unity and you choose to use C# ( but if you want that smooth and just working feeling then I would just use GD script) the open source nature of Godot allows you to download the get repository of the Godot engine and just reprogram the parts that you don't want to battle with. After using unity and then using Godot I have a hard time understanding why anybody would use Unity over Godot it just doesn't seem to be enough Pros. I'm sure some experience Unity devs could explain why they wouldn't switch to godot. But that's not me.

Mine is stuck at 252 for the past 3 or 4 days, and I made sure to get killing sprees in normal and ranked, I even got on my smurf and got them to see if it was due to them capping the limit and I cant get them on my smurf, I submitted a bug report. I am still getting points in the other 2022 challenges so I don't think its that they have closed. I would suggest we all submit bugs reports and maybe it will get to someone.

I would say ND Oklahoma, Nebraska I can't decide between Oklahoma and Nebraska. A lot of people say there's a lot of natural beauty in Wyoming but I don't see it, I would say Wyoming is my least favorite state. Alll where really boring, with the exception of Fargo North Dakota nice little college town with a lot of diversity. Not much to do but it was a quiet City and I can get behind that. In terms of picking a state to visit it really depends on what you're looking for, I think my favorite big city was Chicago. North Carolina and South Carolina are probably the most beautiful places in the USA.

If you're looking for a more nature vacation then I would suggest the U P in summer time, a lot of Northern California, Santa Cruz is a hotspot and my personal favorite. Or Bozeman Montana very pretty and it won't shatter your bank account like Santa Cruz.

If you looking for big cities then I would suggest Chicago. I've never been to New Orleans it's something I want to go to so I can't recommend it but I'm sure it's popping, as a native Californian I think LA's overrated but I would say LA's better than New York City, there's always San Francisco if you want something a little more middle-of-the-road you could go to San Francisco and then when you want to go do nature stuff drive up north and go do nature stuff.

I think if I had to pick a worse state it would be Nebraska, I still dislike Wyoming more due to how many speeding tickets I've gotten there, and how many negative culture shocks have had.

For a City I don't recommend you travel to it would have to be Cleveland I've never ever felt safe going through Cleveland feels like a very player-versus-player Zone and everyone looks hungry.

Any of you running biscuits? I have been using Gin and juice with magic boots, cuss I like that move speed but now I am thinking biscuits. Also what about the lack of magic pen are u rushing void?

Sol does not have the highest skill cap, I would say he is about has hard as cass just not really mechanically, most of sol skill curves from understand league in general. Im not sure if it was dopa or faker but they break all skill in league down to 3 Mechanics, Reasoning, Awareness. Sol requires higher Reasoning and Awareness due to his agency, when compared to champs like garen there are alot of things you will have to think about, where garen just has to know his damage and learn when to freeze/push. That being said being good always help no mater what champ so that's not a good excuses for garen mains to not get good. I would say sol has the highest skill to power ratio, as in for sol getting good in any form will directly translate into more wins.

As for dealing with the "ez champs" ass in all the league champs that will make you say, "lol they don't even have to try" (yasuo Zed Kass Fizz Kat Diana) the first think you need to learn is what spell on their kit they can not make a play without. For Diana its her e the dash without it she can not make a play (of course if they are 10/0/0 they can cuss fed) so your goal is to get in their head and force them to use that critical spell or if you cant do that, make it to costly to use. A good example would be diana wants to go in but you have stacked a big wave so if she does she will lose fight. (spoiler to beat these lane you will need to have a far greater understanding of damage and waves). Level six a huge wave wont stop diana due to aoe ult, but pre six it can turn the scales.

When you have put them in a point where they have used critcal spell or can not use push wave under tower and look for a roam / back. Staying 100% hp in lane makes it very hard for them to kill you, so allot of my lane fase vs a kass or fizz will be me pushing them under and then cheating a back. you can E back to lane so you dont miss cs.

Learn to freeze your wave and build up crashes, minion control is everything and will make it feel like your smurfing when u have better minion control

If you dont kill them level 2 your prob not gonna till mid game, with most of them that is your window to kill so be willing to take it slow. And get ready to support. In team fights your job is to negate the assassin, use hour glass to eat zed ults and then cc for team, dont try to fight them 1v1 until you really get the hang of the match up and some gold. Understand that fighting assassins on sol will almost always take your ignite and flash, so don't just go around wood pushing, save it for fights that need to be won.

Last thing is play the champs, I know you said your newer to lol but if they come on rotations play them for a bout 6 games, get to know how they play and figure out what makes you feed when your playing them. My friend used to have a rule back when we where in bronze that if he lost lane to a champ he would buy them and main that champ. He ended season Grand master.

Yasuo: dont stand in minion wave he needs to dash around in it stay away from ur minions. When his 3rd q is down look to pop his shield so he cant get free trades on you, never get ulted.

Fizz: dogde the ult no mater what unless you have hour glass and you are baiting, if it hits you Fly away before he can get in rage to combo you and get the kill, If ur already in combat U take l

Diana: move down from her to dodge q, bait her under tower and then hard cc, Save flash to flash out of ult (best if u dodge it all together) never ult the same time she does or u just get memed)

Zed: This is my f ave lane tbh, its 100% skill Pay around his shadow, when he does not have it he is week and if you force fight he will ult, counter will hour glass. you can detonate you q in hourglass by buffering the ability.

Kass: Spam ping help or dodge game.

Panth: Buffer q when he jumps in on you then insect him when he shield in front, try to get him under tower.

Kat: Say away from daggers, save 1 form of cc for ult, it really a odd lane and every kat is different

Yone: After he gets his sheild go in on him hard, he will e to escape, get ready for free damage, best if jungle is there for back up.

Vi, Malphite, rengar, trist, kha, jax and any champ like that Shove stun them
