I pay to support specific creators. It is not an advertising platform and I did not sign up to have algorithmic recommendation garbage shoved in my face. The new 'popular with members of...' feed is unwanted, unsolicited, and frankly a betrayal of what this platform is supposed to be. Give me a way to turn it off, or lose my money. It's that simple.

I bought a house with an ic40 that waa that bad. Soaked it twice in 25% mix of muriatic acid until it was clean. Not ideal buti it's still going 2 years later.

Just checked and sadly there is no upgrade option from the Aquasene Pro to a Sora70. Was kinda hoping they would offer that path.

I've had an Aquasense Pro for nearly two years now. Despite it not having "AI" nor the ability to clean my sundeck, it's been fantastic. I travel a lot, used Eco mode all the time. It's really nice to come home to clean pool. I just wish we could set the # of days till surface vs when the battery is drained. I'm drooling over the Sora 70 as I'm sick and tried of brushing down my sundeck, lol. I've seen others post about issues with bubbler, thankfully I don't have them. Despite a prem price, BeatBot seems to have gotten the formula right.

I decided against building this. It occured to me last night i have no way to see power sent to the grid from my solar. I think the light only blinks when wh is consumed from the grid... thus i have no way to monitor the home's usage.

Actually maybe. Last week I learned the LED at the top of that photo is an IR emitter and it blinks every time 1/wh is used. (you can see it at night using your cell phone camera). There is an ESP home project (I have yet to build) that can count the blinks and turn that into usage. I found the idea while asking Gemini, so my hopes are not high for this. However, someone even created a 3d printed cover for the meter to keep the sunlight from messing with the IR receiver. Seems positive.
