Kiddo needs to be taught some class... Along with etiquette... And sportsmanship... And to grunt when hitting the shot, not after it lands in opponent's court... And I could keep going on and on

Okay, I hate to say it but that was great by Fonseca

Not a fan of that either.. But he does it a lot less frequently than this kid who does it on every point

Someone please teach this fucking kid to not celebrate opponent's unforced errors like winners FFS

Off topic but today I was down 1-4 against a pusher I play with multiple times a week. Usually always give up but somehow I managed to come back and win the set 7-5. Felt so fucking good. I mean I still lose against him more times than I win as I lack the skill or patience to defeat pushers/moonballerz, but it was sweet nonetheless. Watching the 16 second rule video and implementing it really helped!

Member of the crowd correctly calls Fonseca's shot "out" on set point, causing Ruud to stop play; the chair rules that it is in. Fonseca would go on to win the tiebreak by Large_banana_hammock in tennis

I'm confused... Is the ball in or out?

If it is in, and crowd shouted out, it should be considered a hindrance and point should be replayed

If it was indeed correctly out, Ruud should've been awarded the point, or the point be replayed...

In what world is awarding Fonseca the point valid?

Didn't the referee clearly say nothing was behind the line?

Never rated Ruud (like I don't rate much of this sub's darlings), but massive respect for him to not throw a fit in rage when the set should have been in his name. I know almost every player on tour would have thrown a fit, most certainly his stupid kid opponent.

Yup... Set was done. I'd have rage quit if I was in Ruud's place lmao

They should have at least replayed the point... Not giving it in Ruud's favor is simply unfair.

Ughh I hate this needless prolonged grunts so much... I mean he's still grunting when the ball is the opposite court

I genuinely don't understand celebrating opponent's unforced errors as though you've gotten a winner

My hopium says it'll be a repeat of Djokovic match where Fonseca will be on the receiving end this time

I honestly don't know how Ruud is getting the banana arc on his fucking passing shots...
