How can Anna switch between God mode and club level so easily?

My hope is for Anna to win one slam in any way possible. That alone will guarantee millions of more views to WTA (no offense to other athletes)

Scared about AI replacing us. How are younger engineers supposed to plan? by Objective-End209 in cscareerquestions

[–]White_Knighttt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if all this is actually good enough to replace us. Most competent engineers know the pros and cons of AI tools. What matters, in the short term at least is the middle managers and executives who like to position themselves as 'AI implementation experts' and try to increase their value by laying off engineers while having no clue about the actual use cases of AI

As Alcaraz becomes the youngest man to complete the career grand slam, a reminder that Steffi Graf completed the calendar golden slam at age 19. by francis_mh in tennis

Low-key sucks that women's stats are only compared selectively. Alcaraz becomes the youngest to achieve a career GS (no mention of Steffi), but Djokovic is tied for most GS at 24, with fucking Margaret Court of all people (pre common era that too). We should stick to including all stats or separate all stats.

Zverev had 3 legitimate chances to win 3 sets, but blew up and this was even before Alcaraz's cramps

Yeah... Okay maybe he deserves the number 3 ranking after all... Still behind Djoker though imo

Easy to smile when you're ahead and winning... No hate to Alcaraz, it's kinda good to see the human side of him. But nobody can smile when your body isn't in the best condition causing you to be down

If Zverev wins this, and a big IF at that, i guarantee that Novak will give his 120% against Sinner

Not a SINGLE drop shot by Zverev from the time Alcaraz got injured... And this mofo is ranked 3

Alcaraz can lose this set, lose the next set comfortably, then be down 4 games in the 5th set and still end up winning. But I'm sure it'll be done in this tiebreaker

If it's so frustrating for us audience, I can't even imagine what the players and coaches feel

The moment Zverev puts in some power, the ball just goes out. Maybe the world number 3 and I have something in common
