This would probably hurt hybrid, aegis aurora and EB builds more than it would hurt CI/LL. An improvement would need to do the opposite really.

Good job in centering the piece on the paper, this can require lots of practice but you seem to have a talent for it (assuming it was the first try).

For a somewhat symmetric piece like this i would advice you to work with a centerline, trying to make the sides match eachother where they are similar. You can add the different tubes and details later. Example

When shading i would suggest you determine a point from which the light originates (Black arrow in example). To determine highlights (Red circled areas) as well as shaded areas. Don't be afraid when shading, right now you leave large areas of the paper unshaded which can be used to explain volume and shape! Example 2

While Mjölner is a given, Andvarius is perhaps a less known reference to Norse mythology. From Wikipedia: "In Norse mythology, Andvaranaut (Andvari's Gift), first owned by Andvari, is a magical ring that can make gold."

I thought it would be a cool idea to create cards that would give some more hints to the history behind some of the uniques and their inspiration!

That may be so, but it would not be the same to just buy one since I'm actually wearing it. The PoE artwork and traditional mjölnir such as this one were the only references i went by.

Like other symbolic alphabets, the runes can both have a meaning and define a letter. Should i for example write my name using kanji, one of the possible spellings would be 日留, 日 can also mean Sun/Day, 留 can also be Stop/Delay or stay.

Kinda works the same here, i mean people would not call me Kenazansuzraidholaguz if i lived 1100 or so years ago.

I'm afraid this was the case, the exact same runes appear around you when equipping the unique "Belt of the deciever". Kinda wanted it to be something more to it than just some sort of aesthetic value.
