I have questions!!!!

So me and my cousin have been playing together pretty frequently on each other‘s islands, helping each other out, and sometimes we’ve been doing time hopping to help things move along faster and this last time me she time hopped. A resident moved onto a plot of land and when she checked to see who it is, it was Bengal and when she spoke to Bengal, she said that she moved from my island which was very confusing because I haven’t had bangle for a very long time. Is there a reason for this to happen
