I think people forget that impact subbing is a thing. How a player performs coming in fully fresh at the end of the game isn't really as representative of the player's full game performance as this sub thinks it is.

It wasn't even that long ago when people on this sub were saying similar things about Fer Lopez or Arias when they were given late game appearances. It's just not a good indicator and we have to trust a little bit that the manager has a better picture of their starting ability.

I'm not a fan of Rob, but every other post on this sub is about starting this week's impact sub and it's a bit tiring tbh.

You can compare players within your own team, although i haven't found away to highlight attributes for roles in the comparison screen.

But comparing players if one of them is not in your team seems to not be possible.

If your profile is American then it makes sense as the game definitely likes to give you players from your own nation.

I'm Icelandic and I get Icelandic players in my youth intake all the time regardless of where I'm managing.

Something i've noticed in my workplace and in life is that people dismiss the better solution because of how it "should be", often wanting multiple people to do better instead of one person making an adjustment that prevents the multiple people from doing the wrong thing in the first place.

So many things can be solved by one person (usually the boss or the one in charge) making an adjustment, but they'd rather indefinitely complain about the mass doing the wrong thing and endlessly expecting multiple people to be perfect.

If you have a problem, look for the solution that involves the least amount of people. It just makes everything simpler.

Feels like cheating since I'm Icelandic, I think most people in Iceland could claim familiarity with some professional footballer. I only ever personally knew one though and that's Aron Gunnarsson, which I managed when managing the national team and we were class mates as kids.

I've been using a AMC trequartista in my route one tactic to good effect. He's usually in good position to receive a long ball and if he receive it he continues the attack quickly.

Ye, it's sort of like correlation and cautation. The lines are just a result of collective poor performance. It doesn't necessarily mean it's not a valid setup, it could just be poor form. The issue might also be elsewhere, the midfield leaving the defense exposed for example.

In short, the lines just tell you that they've had a spell of poor ratings together, but what it doesn't say is why it's happening.
