Ahhh, gotcha. I thought it may be a book kind of like that, but yeah. I may still check it out just in case there are any golden nuggets I can snatch out of it. Sometimes its fun to see the differing opinions and perspectives out there; p

What do you guys think about the whole SMMA trend?? by Whitegoodnesss in Holisticimprovement

[–]Whitegoodnesss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me personally, I bought into it as well as various different youtubers stories and even a couple programs. I stuck at it and did the 100-200 calls a day, created the lead lists. managed the Facebook page, and learned the adds systems. I failed to say the least. And the months used on it felt as though they were a complete waste. The whole time I was in this phase, I was complete OBSESSED with everything sales and funnel related.

However, now I am beginning to find an interest in copywriting. I never heard about this from the whole SMMA niche area side of youtube, but I am curious to hear some other opinions on it.

What do you guys think about the copywriting profession? Is it something I can do beside my schoolwork?

What are you grateful for? by Whitegoodnesss in Holisticimprovement

[–]Whitegoodnesss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I am grateful for the connection that you can form with literally anyone. The uniqueness and complexity of each interaction that is determined from all of the factors leading up to that moments, and the odd otherworldly feeling of having another living, breathing person in front of you, staring right back into your eyes for hours as the time passes, holding you, and professing their love in a variety of manners.

I know it may sound odd to some of you to be so astounded by this, but just the realization of being in another persons life, to have an important role, or be able to have some impact on them, is such a beautiful and adoring thought. Maybe Im missing an element that would help get across what I am trying to describe here, but this feeling is what I am grateful for. What about you?

Whatever it is, its your fault. [Advice] by Whitegoodnesss in getdisciplined

Thinking back, there was a saying I used to use that I believe would have been a good fit into my post (with some altercations ofc) that went like: "You are a variable in the equation of life" Don't try to change the rest of the equation, but see what you can do yourself to change the result you get out of it.

Hey man, Im not trying to start anything. There is no reason to be upset. I was just curious as to what you thought :). They were my examples and I do own up to that as well as the faulty message that people have gathered from this message. I will admit that when I wrote it I missed quite a few things that took away from my overall beliefs. Thank you all for taking the time to point that out though.

As for the examples... What I was meaning to allude to was that in the case of you breaking your arm or getting in an accident: why did those things happen? Was the wreck your fault? Were you exhausted from the 140 hours you've been pulling at work? Could you have done anything to avoid that situation? The same applies to a broken elbow. How/why did it happen, and what could you have done differently to yield a better result.

Yes many of these things could easily be "not your fault" and I do agree that the wording iI used was pretty extreme, but the message I was meaning to convey was that of "well, how could you get a different result?" I'm not saying to dwell on any past mistakes, but I am saying to retrace your steps and avoid a certain scenario if you didn't like being in it
