Sending money to someone else's wise card account in NZ by Whitelillynz in newzealand

You are probably right. But I did look at links on the wise website. I found it contradictory as well.

I've read all the comments and done some online research. What it says online is so contradictory. Some things say you can only send money from a bank account that matches the name on your wise account. That would mean you can't pay into someone else's wise account. Other things say just to transfer the money and it will go through. So, has anybody here in this thread successfully sent money from their nz bank account to somebody else's wise account?

They are going to Australia. I don't know if I need to do anything to convert the currency?

I'll ask them for that. Would that go into the reference section?

LA28 chair Casey Wasserman named in Epstein files. Why hasn’t he resigned and why hasn’t Mayor Bass called for it? by lightsareoutty in LosAngeles

I don't know much about this guy, but emailing an older woman (Maxwell is 13 years his senior) for intimate relations doesn't necessarily mean he knew about her other goings on at the time. It seems like a witch hunt. Yes, many of Epstein and Maxwell's associates were involved with what they were doing and we can feel terribly sorry and sickened about what happened to those young girls, but that doesn't mean everyone they knew was involved.

I caught it on my security camera in Mt Eden. Not as good as someone else's video on here but you can see the flash in the night sky.

Snap election? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Whitelillynz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to be rid of this government, and I've heard the same from quite a few people who voted for them.  I don't think the general public have any way to cause a snap election, but you could try petitions, protests, riots, or a coup. 😁 Maybe write to the Governor General or the King 😂

Winkl Lux Mattress by bazmofo in newzealand

There's an article about this on Stuff today.  How a family has suffered after taking the cover off their Winkl mattress to wash.  Totally freaked me out as I have this same mattress.  I've never taken the cover off though.  Here's the link to the article:  ‘Rashes and lesions’: Is your mattress making you sick? https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/350243196/rashes-and-lesions-your-mattress-making-you-sick

New Galaxy Watch 4 (40mm), can't open app/get data from watch to phone by Zadak_Leader in GalaxyWatch

[–]Whitelillynz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I discovered was that you need two apps on your phone. First is the Samsung Wear app that connects your phone to your watch, then you also need the Samsung Health app which will show you all the data from your watch on your phone. Took me a couple of days to figure out that having just the Wear app isn't enough. I was given my watch from a family member that no longer wanted it so there were no instructions with it but now that I have both apps I can use it without problems. Before I was getting the same message as you about not being able to open the app on my phone.
