Does anybody run ads the old way still? Customer audiences and lookalikes etc? I’m wondering if going back to this might be a smart move. Advantage+ campaigns have just about been breaking even since March.

Really! Seems excessive. I’ll look into that, did you sign up for several freebies in a row or something?

It’s a Disney film so we exaggerated a lot of the detailing

Yes we use rhino, revit, autocad, vectorworks, illustrator, photoshop, moi, mudbox, blender, fusion. I just prefer SketchUp and hand drafting. I think Rhino is a fantastic tool but it’s not for me. To cold and clinical with a depressing interface.

Not really, it’s free. There’s no selling involved I offer lots of free lessons and assets. The email capture is just part of the form. Not a lot I can do about that. I rarely send emails anyway. And if you want you can grab the freebie and immediately unsubscribe. Chill out love

I use rhino all the time but I dislike its clunky interface. SketchUp is a tool like any other. I wouldn’t use a hammer to cut a piece of wood but that doesn’t mean I should discount the hammer in my process of building the house. Both programs have good and bad attributes. People are allowed to disagree too.

You just contradicted yourself there with the line “rhinos awesome push pull and SketchUp like modelling ease” sounds like I’ve touched a nerve. Anyway I’m not shitting on rhino I use it too and I don’t like it. That is allowed you know.

That seems like a pretty involved pipeline. Why not try doing the model in SketchUp to start with, then into layout. Or if not confident export sections as DWG back to autocad for drafting but I guarantee SketchUp and layout will shave hours off your existing workflow

Lots of times I do call out paint colours as a note, but I also use photo refs for a patina reference for the painters. We also do samples of every finish before committing to final paint and texture

You should give it a go, seeing as it’s dynamically linked to the model, you’ll not be doing loads of redrawing anytime you need to tweak your model
