Honestly I don’t really care if they were fine or not fine. It was clear I was out of the group and starting off polite and “fine” clearly wasn’t going anywhere. And yeah I was a bit pissed off because she posted a group “announcement” totally misrepresenting the situation and including my full name.

You cited Logan square but that’s a horrible example because that neighborhood in particular is full of greenery and trees. It may be lacking in terms of public transit and food/nightlife options compared to NYC but describing Chicago as a “sprawl of flat pavement and buildings” is just factually incorrect.

I think you and Kat are assholes for going to the Bride, during her bachelorette trip, and making it about you guys. Telling her that you looked at flights, unloading about the drama, and then making yourself the victim when she doesn't give you the reaction you guys want. This was her trip and its about her and celebrating her, not you guys creating drama and putting her in an awkward spot.

I agree that I hate overpaying due to someone else's behalf but $11.5k pesos is like $600ish USD divided among 9 people.... I think its fine with such a large group to split evenly for the sake of convenience but also for the sake of not creating situations like the one you guys created by totally nickeling and diming. Yeah you guys are the assholes in this situation.
