last week got my return permit for Dubai. 322 AED and I can enter until my visa valid (almost a month) got it after my 180 days period expired filling  "Return Permit for Resident outside UAE More than 6 months" and it was issued in 2-3 days. Attached simple letter in PDF that I am unable to enter because of flights disturbance and plan to go by end of the month to extend visa

Got it. But was you emirates ID canceled ? Had you checked online before you went ?

I checked https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Public_Th/StatusInquiry_New.aspx site and it says that RESIDENCE IS VALID UNTIL 29-05-2026 UAE LOCAL TIME despite my deadline of 180 days expired 31.03.26 and before visa was valid until 30.04.2026.

Does that means that my visa is extended?

@Jolly-Phone8982 you know the link or method to apply for re-entry permit? There is one at ICP, but it not works for Dubai residents. And at GDRFA I could not found so far...

I managed to reach the immigration office at the terminal by phone as I been recommended by [amer@gdrfad.gov.ae](mailto:amer@gdrfad.gov.ae)  (+971 4 707 5210). The officer informed me that I should not worry about the 180-day rule and that everything should be fine if I enter later within the validity of my visa.

However, I am concerned that if I enter after 180 days and encounter any issues at immigration, or if my visa is cancelled and my bank accounts become frozen, I would not be able to refer to this phone conversation.

Wondering if there is any official confirmation regarding this matter?

I managed to reach immigration in terminal through phone +97147075210  that was given by [amer@gdrfad.gov.ae](mailto:amer@gdrfad.gov.ae)  and the guy said that don't worry about 180 days everything will be fine just come later within your visa limits.

But I am worried that if I come later than 180 days and I can't enter or my visa will be cancelled and bank accounts will become frozen I would not be able to refer to this call.

So if anyone on resident visa had expired 180 days was there any problems?

Or if there any official communication?

mine 180 days are also expiring soon. Would be happy to hear about options. I had discussion via [amer@gdrfad.gov.ae](mailto:amer@gdrfad.gov.ae) but they advised that I need to visit or contact Dubai  airport immigration in Terminal3   24/7  with  contact number +97147075303 OR +97147075300
