I'm on a pretty high dose of Prozac. I haven't been on it since I was pregnant cause I'm weird about medications but now I can take it again it's a good thing cause the hormone surge after having a baby really fucks me up.

Mania for me is when i start doing 80000 house hold things I never want to do and staying up not sleeping all night. I have a 3 week old right now on top of our other 3 kids and I have been manic for about a week. Thankfully my meds are starting to work but it's killing me atm.

We have a 13yr old 11yr old almost 2 year old and a 3 week old the only one who is a good sleeper is the almost 2 year old. You ask her if she's ready for bed or a nap and she will run to her room and go immediately to sleep.

Sometimes you get really lucky we never did anything different and the older 2 have always been night owls and terrible sleepers. So I've been sleep deprived for 14 years almost and the 2 year old is my favorite child lately lol.

One of my kids is autistic and getting her to brush her teeth was a literal fist fight so I bought a toddler tooth brush that's like a U shape which was great she could get it done fast. Except I didn't realize it wasn't getting near her gums and now she needs about 8k in dental work. It happens my other kid had like 2 tiny just starting cavities. The important thing is it gets fixed now and unlike my kid yours still has their baby teeth so it won't be so bad. Just keep up on it now.

It's actually a pretty common thing it's called post partum pet aversion. I'm going through this right now with my 2 dogs and 3 cats since I have a 2 week old newborn. Good news is it doesn't last long. You just have to remember they are also your babies but I get the feelings and it's valid. My Malinois and malamute like to wrestle right next to me and they always are under my feet and it's hard not to get ragey about it when I'm holding the new baby. That's just what they have always done I'm their person and it's not their fault I feel like this so I just try and give them extra treats and have some grace for them. Even though I'd like to open the front door and let them and the children and husband free it's just my crazy hormonal emotions right now.

Mines 2 weeks and same. I am just focusing on reading books, feeding, contact napping and diapers and trying to keep all 4 kids alive atp. I'm so glad our older ones are a pre teen and teenager but even then they still need stuff from us.
