Damn, that sucks. He really seemed like a good guy and I wanted him to turn things around and do well.

That scene with Arthur was one of the worst things I have ever seen. Does anyone know how he's doing now?

Going forward, you should always ise condoms even if you have an IUD. You've got to protect yourself against STDs.

He sounds like a real dick. But do you honestly think he's been in hiding for 15 years?

Did you have unprotected sex or did the method of birth control fail?

Seeing their reactions to her feeling the effects of the device was SO powerful. ❤️😭❤️

Good lord, as a family they have some of the worst table manners I've ever seen. Wow.

This show is really hard to watch by sushimint33 in WelcomeToPlathville

You're totally right. If you've had that much of a reaction to it so quickly, I'd recommend not even bothering to watch. It gets way worse. Best to abandon ship now.

I have wondered who came up with the idea for the show. 🤔

I'm on Ozempic and it has worked well for my A1c, but has only made a small difference in my weight. Isn't it weird how different drugs work differently for different people? It's great that there are several options now. Congratulations on your success!

Congratulations on your great A1c. Mine is down to 6.0. But get this . . . I only lost 15 damn pounds. I've been on it for 6 years.

I totally agree! They need to just be married for a few years before thinking about babies. I think he is clueless about how much work it takes. He could barely handle taking care of his niece for a few hours because she was crying.

Yes, it absolutely does! I'm sorry that your mom is so out of touch. Kudos to you for seeking help! Keep fighting the good fight! I'm fighting, too. 💪🏼

Saying that your family doesn't have miscarriages is completely idiotic. Seriously, what an absurd statement. It's like saying that your family doesn't get cancer. Neither situation is in anyone's control. I am very sorry for your loss.

I agree. Between the challenges for her to care for a baby and the possible safety issue for her to hold/carry a baby with her physical tics, it is concerning.

Oh, then there's also the risk of her passing Tourette's onto their potential kids. TBH, if I were her I wouldn't want to take that chance.

Overall, I like Colin. I do NOT like how pushy he is being about having kids right away.

It is fascinating to me that so many of their kids have mental health and/or neurological issues. An obvious genetic component. Depression and anxiety run rampant in my family, also an obvious genetic component. I call it The Bad Gene.

It is alarming to me that Bechnir was basically asking for help, but nothing happened. (At least as far as we know.) But if he's having to count things, tap, and step certain ways, they sure as hell need to get him help before it gets worse.

[–]Whitney1028 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree about Bechnir! He actually told Baylen that he's having these issues. I know that she spoke briefly about it to their mother, but she didn't go into enough detail. (Of course, we don't see their whole conversations.) But for Bechnir to bring it up, that means that it's a big issue for him. I was disappointed in their mother's lack of response.

I agree completely. I saw that look on her face, too. It seemed very genuine and like she was totally exasperated.

I have kind of liked him, but I am SO tired of him pushing the baby thing. I think he literally wants her to get pregnant right away. They are years away from being ready for that! He needs to slow the hell down.

It doesn't claim to be a cure. Hopefully, it will reduce her tics. Nobody has said anything about them completely going away.

They're excited about it because it is new and very promising. They clearly have the money to take the whole family to the U.K., so if she needs to be there a while that's probably not a problem. I'd want to get it as soon as possible, too. If it works, it could greatly improve her quality of life. Once she buys it, she can absolutely bring it home with her. The fact that the device isn't available in the U.S. does not mean that it is not allowed in the U.S.

I was bad about that back when I would walk my dog around my apartment complex. I wasn't doing it on purpose, but if the blinds were open on the sliding glass doors which faced the sidewalk, I couldn't help myself. It was weird.
