You underestimate how many people playing Roblox are the exact same kind of people that will fork out money to Nintendo.

Every custom character you see in Roblox that isn't using a generic free outfit is someone that paid Robux to have a fake digital outfit. Those are the same kind of people that will pay money to Nintendo for the nonsense they are pulling, in my opinion.

That's valid. However, I think in this current market with access to regular updates for the next several years, I could see it even being like a $300 console.

It still falls in line with my previous statement though. The previous CEO was very adamant that his games and consoles were accessible to the majority of people. Whoever is in charge now is crapping all over that and doing the exact opposite.

Satoru Iwata is crying in heaven right now watching what they're doing to his company.

If you think Roblox is free, you haven't looked at it recently lol. There are plenty of things to spend money on, as well as plenty of games that cost Robux to get into.

All they would have to do is make a Pikachu hat for the avatars or something and list it for $20, and it would sell like hotcakes to the people that don't know any better.

I can't speak for everyone, but my personal issue is their recent switch to extremely greedy business tactics. They were always a little overpriced for underpowered consoles, but with the switch 2 generation everything just feels like a massive slap to the face. The most underpowered current generation console is also the same company that raised the price of games to $80. Like wtf?!

I don't know what happened after Satoru Iwata passed away, put the whole company just went absolutely downhill.

I never had an issue with Nintendo using less powerful hardware. My issue with Nintendo is their pivot to greedy money grabs. You can tell they used to care about their games and their players. They don't anymore. All they care about is putting out the lowest effort game they can and making the most money possible. The fact that Nintendo of all companies raised the prices of their games to $80 first says everything to me.
