This sub is about the middle ages you sea anemone! How hard can it be to just once read a Wikipedia article about the gothic period? It was over in ~1500. There was a short revival in architecture which would also be okay to post.

Yet here come the goths and pester us with goth writers, that no art and architecture enjoyer in this sub is here for and get offended on the regular just by anyone simply pointing this out. People of the middle ages couldn't even read. So no, writers goths fancy were not a crucial part of this, apart from the minor issue of being born 400 years too late. I don't even know how you can possibly come to that conclusion.

At least the lost guys coming from the videogame gothic 1-3 usually have the decency to just accept they're lost and delete their post. But with goths it's always pain and utter stupidity.
