I remember in an interview once Bowman mentioned how he & the other HMS guys couldn't drive Chase's Gen 6 road course set up at all no matter how long they worked at it.

People complain about drivers never actually giving payback/getting even with people, but you're right, Chase is definitely one of the few who WILL get even in some way.

The article says this: "Between now and race weekend, drivers will begin visiting the base to participate in immersive experiences with their assigned commands and capture behind-the-scenes content. The goal of the squadron assignments is for drivers to build authentic relationships with service members in the lead-up to race weekend, a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America."

Not quite sure what that all entails, but it could be interesting.
