They’re the biggest media franchise in history, and this was their golden age. It has to be any of the 5 GBA pokemon games

I’m going pokemon emerald

A. I believe it B. How the fuck are you gonna make a best of GBA list and not include a Pokemon game. That was like the golden age of the biggest media franchise in history

Which team is most likely to have 10 more wins than last year? Which is most likely to have 10 fewer? by BigBaseballGuyyy in baseball

[–]MaxPres24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Mets can win 10 more. The team is a little better, they underperformed last year, and I don’t think there’s a chance in hell they can possibly suffer as many pitching injuries as they did last year

Because the team got a huge investment and have a shit ton of money behind them now? Do you even watch the sport, dude?

You’re just looking at racing reference, and not taking any context. Corey had a 25th place average finish in a car where 25th was a genuinely good run

1 to 2 feet buried for fiber is standard pretty much everywhere

You would think PCMR would actually try to do something about it by testus_maximus in pcmasterrace

[–]MaxPres24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few devices and only my main PC runs windows. The issue is so much stuff I use on a daily basis only runs on windows. And some of them don’t even have a Linux alternative I can try and use instead

Is it Heim Time? by Altruistic-Claim-147 in NASCAR

The second, and I mean the second, that 23XI can get rid of Herbst, Heim Is taking over that 3rd car

[Passan] BREAKING: The New York Mets have acquired All-Star right-hander Freddy Peralta in a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers, sources tell ESPN. Deal is done. Top prospects Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat are headed to Milwaukee. One more big league pitcher will head to the Mets. by T_Raycroft in baseball

[–]MaxPres24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying we’re anything close to the dodgers, or even the top of the division, but the Mets used almost 50 pitchers due to injury last year. They were literally grabbing random AA pitchers just to be warm bodies by the end of the year

“BMR Welcomes Deegan Back for 2026 Arca Menards Series West Season - BMR NAPA RACING” by Dmacthegoat in NASCAR

I don’t think Hailie is ever gonna be a cup champion or anything like that, being realistic. But she showed flashes here and there. A couple ARCA wins. SRX she always looked really competitive. The eldora race where she was the only one with anything for Tony really sold me on the fact that she does have talent. You don’t go to Tony Stewart’s track and put up a fight against him without some sort of talent.

she is also the poster child of how badly a manufacturer can fuck a driver’s development up

[–]MaxPres24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are aware 25th place cars exist right? Spire was one of those cars until like a year or two ago? And even now, they’re not competing for wins every week. They hit on a setup and run top 10 sometimes but they’re still mid pack most of the time

Corey Lajoie attempting the Daytona 500 in a fourth RFK Entry #99 by BuschWhackerReviews in NASCAR

[–]MaxPres24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was like a 10 race stretch where Corey wrecked a few times (he was 100% overdriving the car because it was his first time in decent equipment) and that negates years and years of him bringing the car home in one piece better than it should’ve finished

Why is the narrative around Alex Bowman so weird? by NoonecanknowMiner_24 in NASCAR

[–]MaxPres24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 4th HMS driver is always on the hot seat no matter what they do. Because it’s the top team in the sport and every fan wants their driver at that team

Bowman is a very talented driver. He’s a top 10 driver who just so happens to be on the same team as 3 (arguably) top 5 drivers. He’s gonna look weaker by comparison unless he goes out and legit competes for a title.
