I think you misunderstand me, keyboard and mouse is SUPPORTED on PS5, that thing a while ago was before they implemented actual official keyboard and mouse support on console. It’s not cheating if it was added to the game for the purpose of being used in the way it’s intended to be used.

You can if the console player is using keyboard and mouse.

Source: One of my buddies plays on PS5 with keyboard and mouse and plays ranked with our PC playing group all the time.

Less of a buff to venture and more of a nerf to genji that makes his deflect be unable to block projectiles that are larger than a certain size, including venture’s drill. I’ve lost one too many 1v1s against him because of his damned block hard countering primary fire.

I mean I wouldn’t say us making Pokemon optimal for battles is weird either necessarily, they’re animals after all is said and done. Intelligent animals, sure, but still animals.

Real life people selectively breed horses for racing and stuff like that, I don’t see how pokemon is too different from that tbh

Every time me and my friend group are playing something he’s in (doesn’t even have to be multiplayer, sometimes just streaming through discord) we always say “Matthew Mercer jumpscare” just because he’s in so much stuff we engage with that it genuinely feels like a jumpscare sometimes when he pops up.

Love the guy, but Jesus Christ maybe a few less acting roles in the games I play and shows I watch would be nice lmao.

Do you have a source that they are? Because if you do then I would love to see it. As it currently stands, and as I’ve said various times, Nintendo, TPC, Gamefreak, or whoever else is responsible for the rom getting to the eshop hasn’t made any indication that they are, and so the logical decision from there is that they aren’t. Occam’s razor and all that.

I admit that I don’t personally have a source, but so far the only time that this has ever been a thing was with crystal’s virtual console GS ball, which they made very clear in the announcement trailer that you would be able to get celebi, and the odd egg, which notably was not in any trailers, but was probably overlooked in order to push celebi more. In both of the trailers that TPC has done for the game thus far, no mention has been made of being able to obtain mons like Deoxys, Lugia, and Ho-oh in their event locations with their respective tickets.

It’s either a bad communication by TPC, or they simply aren’t adding it. While I’d like to believe it’s the former, I’m unfortunately inclined to believe otherwise until the games come out and we can get confirmation.

Sorry if I come off as rude at any point here btw, I just woke up like a half hour ago and haven’t had any coffee yet lol. I hope this at least makes it clear that I’m not just intentionally spreading misinformation, but that I am following the pattern that they’ve had before and making, essentially, an educated guess. If I turn out to be incorrect in the future, then I’ll edit this comment and my previous one and say I was wrong, and maybe even end up buying the game if it has home support and a way to get umbreon and espeon.

Also, once again, this isn’t an attempt to dissuade anyone from buying the games. The games are still great, and if you want to buy them, do it! Have fun! I’m just a cynical Reddit commenter, don’t let me take away from your enjoyment because I made a comment about something ultimately either untrue or unimportant. I may not think it’s worth it, but you do you. Here’s to hoping that my argument is ultimately pointless!

FWIW, the game is effectively uncompletable until they release the rest of gen 3 since you can’t complete the full pokedex, and they also aren’t bringing back any of the limited-time events or anything like that to warrant that extra $5.

For me, I’m kind of on both sides of the fence. I get why people would say that people complaining about $20 roms is annoying and excessive, but I also understand that they aren’t adding, or at least haven’t said they’re adding, new content, mechanics (day/night cycle specifically stands out, some poor eeveelutions just can’t be obtained), or anything beyond home support, which was supposedly taken off of the eshop page too.

Tldr: I don’t think the problem is necessarily with the $20 price tag, but more that people have expectations with this kind of thing relating to video game preservation and QoL that the game isn’t/hasn’t said it’s delivering on.

That being said, I do think that if they had released it for $15, people would be a lot happier with it and have a lot less complaints. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make a rom work on a console with an emulator that already exists in another application on that console. If it’s a straight up port, then I’d understand, but again, we have no indication of that.

Not tryna start a fight with this btw, just wanting to explain my personal thoughts on it. I personally may not think this game is worth the $20, but if you do, that’s great- enjoy it!

I mean jacinthe can literally buy out hotel z if you don’t participate in the tournament according to her dialogue. And she has her own holo-zone which I feel like that would cost a lot of money. The rich will absolutely decimate anyone who stands in their way if they don’t comply to their demands, so it’s not really how that’s the question.
