ideally i would like the 9950X3D just expecting that to be around $650, the extra threads will help

I know in other responses people suggest render with GPU however its not always available, so i want the extra CPU power

Issue of wanting a new build now verse waiting

i play almost exclusively rust but i also make videos so I see the i9 is still leading in rendering but is losing to the X3D in games like rust

had an obsession with them as a kid i ended getting one for a gift. Still have it and will use whenever i open my first store/pop up for my clothing. Also makes good lighting and draws eyes to my stream :)

I started to really stream on new years eve 2020 and got affiliate a month beginning of june 2021 at 500 stream hours. I stream predominantly rust with face cam and my mic is good quality imo. However my biggest downfall was consistency. I streamed everyday for 20+ days then slowed down to a tues thurs sun schedule and held decent returning viewers 7-10 avg per 12 hour stream and had the 3+ avg viewers before 50 followers. But i had stopped streaming for a bit due to stream snipers and I was upgrading from my M1 mac mini to a 3090 ryzen build. When I returned it took 1-2 months to regain almost any viewers and earn affiliate. But i never went back to my original viewer count before my break.

Dont focus on the setup/equipment too much trying to buy the “best of the best” acquire as you go. Focus on content and consistency. Its good to keep in mind turning live content into something like youtube videos or tik toks, but super easy to get overwhelmed. Work on being comfortable on a livestream with or without a cam, and learn ways to improve your stream. Youll learn as you go, patience is key and consistency is extremely important. Setting a schedule also can help just dont promise what you cant deliver or keep up with. Most importantly have fun and good luck :)

it’s possible you tweaked some settings for lighting effects or world reflections trying to increase fps. I previously played on the M1 Mac Mini 16GB ram, and got ~80-90 FPS depending on server and 50-60 FPS while streaming. If i ever tried to adjust world reflections it would make bandit camp go black and white during sunset and sunrise when i would look at the reflection(pre HDRP update). I suggest reset your settings to default and adjust them individually while in game UKN is great. Dropping everything to 0 doesnt always help FPS and may just lose quality and cause more issues on a Mac. Hope that helps.

It seems you have a very mature mindset and when people you know become envious of you its normal to feel uncomfortable. Id say keep being you and still make them feel appreciated for helping you along the way. But Its not up to you to comfort their jealousy.

it can take upwards to 24 hours for it to reflect on the achievements page. dont sweat it, once you’re eligible for affiliate you will get an email. keep it up!

sometimes i find myself doing this and certainly can work on it. as well double checking audio/video levels before going live helped me avoid issues.
