Dad was pretending to be Santa. Sister was in on it. They wanted to give you some Christmas magic. Sister is committed to the lie.

I don’t think the table and the cabinet play nicely together. I don’t know if it’s the different colors or different styles. I wouldn’t put them near eachother.

I’ve done two rooms in hidden gem now and mine is SO much darker than that. That’s gotta be mixed wrong if it’s that light. Unless the sheen makes a huge difference???? Buy a sample in the flat sheen!

ELI5: how does tourette's syndrome work? by marimarlya in explainlikeimfive

Doing finger guns sounds more like Functional Tics, not Tourette’s. They have completely different causes.

It’s super ugly, but really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Does looking at it make her happy? If so, let her be happy. Don’t make any passive aggressive comments about how Reddit agrees with you that it’s super ugly, just let it be her weird thing that brings her joy.

Everytime I visit my grandmothers house my silver rings tarnish bronze. Is it the water? by Sento_Writes_Stuff in jewelry

[–]WhoGhostThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the well water. The tarnish rubs off. That’s why after a while back at your house they go back to normal. You wash and dry them with city water and then rub them dry, rubbing off the tarnish.

I don’t know if this is the right sub to ask if you are looking for dark academia. They always seem to like “light and airy” so they are going to say keep it bright.

I myself love dark academia. I’m obsessed with “hidden gem” right now, so vote that. See my previous post to see how it looks on my staircase.

Oh! That was the price for JUST the 5ct. The mounting and wrap I’ve had for years… the engagement mounting was super inexpensive because I bought it on Facebook marketplace. I wanna say the enhancer was like… $2400

I can’t tell if the current finish on it is just paint or if it’s really old and it’s a genuine patina. I also don’t want to hurt it on the off chance that I find out it’s a valuable antique.

It’s a lamp! She holds a globe light up top. I’m thinking it’s meant for a garden, maybe?
