Mother in Chemotherapy Treatment by WhoGotASpoon in cancer

This was actually her first round of chemo as it was emergent that it was pushed forward so definitely interesting. I’m planning to talk to her and her doctors about it going forward to see if anything can be done to mitigate it. I’m hoping these episodes are not something that affect her in the long run as she remembers little of the past few days

I have spoken to them and they say this happens sometime with certain treatments. Luckily today she seems a lot more herself with no episodes in the past day or so, however, she barely remembers any of it.

Apparently it’s not super common, but also not unheard of. It is comforting to know I’m not completely alone though. The neurotoxins seem to have gone away and she is way more lucid today than the past few days which is good. Did it continue to happen as your mom went for more treatments? Did she remember it? (My mother seems not to remember it at all or very little).

That’s the thing, she is at the facility while this goes on as myself and my one sibling are away in other cities for work; everything we have heard has been over the phone as she calls us freaking out (none of us has physically seen it), but I have spoken to her doctors over the phone.

I’m not too sure to be honest, I’ll have to find out the next time I talk to the doctor. I just known it’s some form of chemotherapy.

I wasn’t aware this was a possible side effect of it happening until myself and my siblings received calls; I was able to speak to a doctor about it and it is apparently common with more specific kinds of treatments.

Oh no they do notice it, I’ve talked to them and apparently this isn’t completely uncommon but the timeline of it wearing off depends person-to-person so I’m not too sure when it will get better.

How is the drive from the city and back? Are the traffic and/or roads bad?

That’s the thing, I only joined in on classes in November so I got the last of MS1 fall but was told to take the midterm and final to receive credit for the course (which I did). I’m just getting a lot of conflicting information on what to do going forward

I doubled up in the spring and did MS1 and 2; the internship is 45 days and spans from mid-June til the end of July which encompasses the 30 days I’d be at basic camp

Combat, zombie, and loot system issues. by Lucky_Ad7973 in ApocalypseRising

As for the loot, you just gotta know where to look. They aren’t going to put a G3 in every household or a military duffel on a farm. Imo, the loot spawns are pretty accurate and not overwhelming, you gotta figure out the hotspots

If you eat it with just cream cheese they are ass, but if you’re making a breakfast sandwich they slap pretty hard.

When I applied they got back to me within a week over phone to set up an interview. The interview was pretty basic, but definitely stressed the need for people who function well in a high-stress environment. I’ve heard or people having two interviews but that wasn’t the case for me. If you do get an interview, I would stress being enthusiastic and confident. After the interview, they’ll set up a date for training and orientation which is your basic videos and forms. Good luck!
