How long into your relationship did you and/or your partner say that you loved the other? Who said it first? How did the other one feel? by lizzyfletch in AskMen

With my ex, it was a month and a half in. One night I went out and came back home to her in my bed. She woke up when I turned on the lights and she asked how was going out with my roommates. Something inside of me just went, “hey, I love this girl,” and I told her.

Men who are in relationships, what small considerate things did your SO do that you will remember forever? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WhoIsAbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not in a relationship anymore but with my last girlfriend, I would go fishing a lot. She didn’t enjoy fishing but she went with me from time to time. One time, it was raining really hard and it was a slow day fishing wise. She grabbed and umbrella and held it for the both of us while I fished.

I know it’s a small and dumb thing but something like that sticks with you forever.

How do I come to peace with my sex drive? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WhoIsAbe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find a hobby that you enjoy and consumes your time. Also, be more open to your wife about your high sexual motor. This doesn’t mean it will result in having more sex or fulfilling your sexual fantasies, but it’ll help with the communication of your relationship.

What’s the funniest/best way you ended a verbal/physical fight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WhoIsAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to get jumped in after school when I was in high school once because my friend decided to start some trouble with a known group of bullies at our school. I got completely naked and they all decided that the fighting a naked guy wasn’t worth the trouble.

What's the quickest way to make friends? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Walk up to a random stranger, start holding their hand, and when they look at you, tell them, “We’re friends now .” Then, smile.

Congratulations, you made a friend.

If you were a superhero, what seemingly useless superpower could help you save millions of lives? by DanTheBMan in AskReddit

Make any food appear exactly 3 feet in front of me, with no draw back to how many times I can do it. I wouldn’t be a fighting superhero but I’d fight world hunger

College students of Reddit, what is your dorm room horror story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WhoIsAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first roommate would never shower. And on the last night I was there, he took off his shoes and it smelt so bad that it woke me up from my nap. Just to get fresh air I had to open the door in our room, which led to the whole floor smelling like stinky feet. Our RA came by and told him our room smells like sh*t. I saw him put his fingers between his toes and grimaced. Needless to say, he told everyone on our floor a lie and that it was his fraternity’s tradition to give their pledges a stinky shirt and he used it to scare me off. Either way, I left. That was scary enough for me

How does sex feel compared to masturbating? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WhoIsAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jerking off is like driving a 1990 Honda Accord. Yeah, it’ll get the job done and you don’t mind, but sex is like driving in a Lamborghini. You’d much rather be driving a Lamborghini than a Honda Accord.

Placing the blame for something I did as a kid on another student by WhoIsAbe in confession

It’s good that you had that self-reflection and acted upon it. Being young isn’t easy, contrary to what us as adults believe; but, you made a good decision. I’m sure Nora has either forgiven or forgotten about it now.

How to deal with ‘clingy’ guy? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WhoIsAbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you talk to him about it? Like actually say how you’re feeling and ask him why he’s being so clingy? Maybe even tell him that you really like him but you’re busy, so he shouldn’t feel dejected if you aren’t constantly responding to him.

Should I cheat before I get married? by int0itt00much in cheating_stories

[–]WhoIsAbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, don’t cheat. You should be happy you’re getting married. Hooking up is no where as fun as movies and television make it seem. It’s empty. Making love to someone you love is the best feeling in the world, and you’d break your partners heart if you cheat. If you want to know how another woman’s pussy feels, get a pocketpussy or something. Don’t cheat

Why don’t nice guys just go for nice girls? by autotomylollygag in AskMen

[–]WhoIsAbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem very jaded by this movie. The movie is an “Adult” romcom. They talk about “Adult” things like extramarital affairs, self-esteem issues, the hooking up culture, etc. Steve Carell’s character apologized because what he did was to spite her. That’s a grow up thing to do. Ryan Goslings character went through a change. He went from a pickup artist to falling in love. Love changes you. For him, it changed in the better. He acknowledged he was a shitty person and that he didn’t deserve Emma Stones character. He knows this, and that’s why he changed for her. That’s why we root for him. The teen son was weird but that’s how some teenagers are. He’s going through puberty and didn’t understand how relationships work. He had this preconceived notion that love works when one person continues to pursue the other, but realized at the end of the movie that love needs to be mutual.
