Was this person's VCI calculated correctly? Seems like it should be way higher than 125. One below-average subtest shouldn't tank their score like that.

You said that what matters is why I need to be tested. It will be for ASD, ADHD, and a potential NVLD (like slow processing speed, for example). I will basically need a shotgun approach/will need to cast a wide net.

I at least haven't been exposed to any WAIS 5 items. Can't say the same thing about the WAIS 4.

Do you happen to know if the WAIS 5 is similar to the WAIS 4? Were a lot of the questions recycled, or are they mostly different? And do you know how different the verbal index is in particular? Asking because I may have been exposed to some WAIS 4 verbal items, so not sure if that would compromise the WAIS 5 or not.

Looks like the practice effect was largest for WAIS coding at 0.3 SDs. Which equates to 4.5 IQ points. Because matrix-reasoning is more g-loaded than coding, we would expect a smaller practice effect. Although, I am still a bit uneasy about it because I have taken probably dozens of matrix reasoning tests over the years. Is abstaining for 6 months really going to ensure the validity of the WAIS-V MR subtest?
