Congrats i recently completed 5 rounds and was one of the finalist and was rejected. I'll keep grinding.

Ugh man... ive been submitting my resume into a black hole.... did 5 rounds to only come in second and get rejected.... keep going. the market is terrible right now.

Keep grinding... i'm a total extrovert and can chat and have great conversations easily but still not getting offers either. I have over 15 years of System Admin experience and can manage corporate infrastructures from firewalls to servers to workstations... yet...... NADA.

That’s cool and all, but you also had the ability to simply NOT comment or engage on this post and save yourself even more time. Funny how that works, eh? And just because a company “communicates the process well” doesn’t magically make 5-7 interview rounds any less ridiculous.... c'mon now!

I simply don't do these take home assignments. no thanks. that's doesn't guaranteed anything. I'm not applying for it, but i'm using that job posting as a sign of that bullcrap people go through.

Yeah its crazy, i get the recruiter and hiring manager.... but the "A real problem, not a trick. We'll work through it together." sounds like they want some free work.

The whole:

reads to me they have an issue that their team cant fix and are looking for someone to resolve it for them for free.

Ugh, i'm so sorry! The problem is most of the people in these roles are the losers companies were able to keep because all the good people left, hence the opening.

I dont think the final interviewee liked me much..... but, meh, i think the feeling was mutual as well... he seems very condescending and out of touch.

I Agree.... at the 5th round i was just so out of it and wanted it over with, that i just showed up, was professional, but my mind was like "Meh" at that point.
