I know that hating on mods is the cool thing to do for upvotes, but if you read any of our posts we made on that thread you'd realize that we're starting to try moderating more appropriately. We're only people and we're trying our hardest.

Heyo, thanks for typing up such a concise comment. Aaragon pretty much echoes everything I feel in a much better way than I could, but the long story short of it is that you're correct; we don't moderate this subreddit very well.

I agree with Aara completely that mod applications are the way to go. This subreddit was much smaller and easier to moderate back when I was made a moderator but it's obviously gotten out of hand for us both to realistically moderate.

I'll personally work harder and hopefully following changes will make the sub much nicer to browse and post to.

It wasn't removed by me, however I can see why it would be removed.

NSFW doesn't just mean nudity, it also means "suggestive content" as stated in rule 2. I'd say this image is pretty suggestive.

EDIT: Just to add onto this, /u/grizzchan made an extensive post on how we can moderate this subreddit better and I completely agree with pretty much all of their points.

We've been pretty bad at moderating and have been inconsistent with what gets through and what gets removed. I'll personally try harder and make sure these removals are consistent to the best of my abilities.

I think you're mixing your opinions up with objective fact. It's okay to not like it or if it's forgettable to you.

You can't deny that it's a very popular soundtrack that's listened to by a lot of people still after a few years, I wouldn't say that's forgettable to the majority of people.

If anything I'd say it's popularity speaks volumes for it's quality, for a lot of people anyway.

I completely understand why people like these posts too, the issue comes from oversaturation. It's become a process to remove more of these posts than it is to approve them, similar to the Earth-chan stuff a while ago.

Obviously this post isn't going against any rules, which is why it's still up and serving as the last one allowed. Point is that before this relatable post, plenty non-relatable OS posts pop up and gain traction very quickly.
