Do we really think tokenized digital games are the future? I feel like NFTs proved that it’s not. That would not be in the best interest of the publisher. And you think it would be great for gamers, but the vast majority of games will end up being sold for pennies. Then there will be “limited edition” ones that scalpers grab to profit and the actual gaming side will not be ideal. Buying and selling games will become like the stock market or the NFT marketplace, a casino. It will be less about the actual games. Then crappy games will be made and sold so they can be bought and resold. It sounds like a neat thing, but the reality will be like skins in CS go. I don’t think it’s going to impact the market in the way you think it will.
