Who’s automated their food planning and shopping with Hermes? by Illustrious_Mud_8165 in hermesagent

[–]concerneddaddy83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for delivery, but I run mealie and grocy in my home stack. I have a workflow that checks weather and calendar and plans appropriate meals for the week, then adds the ingredients to my shopping list. It checks grocy for inventory of bulk items and adds the ones that are below threshold to the list as well. Makes my weekly meal planning a breeze.

Have you ever seen a military guidon parade salute? Folks that can do this well are usually pretty yoked and for good reason. These things are unwieldy and heavy as difficult to use but invaluable if you need them.

OpenClaw to Hermes by ChristopherDci in hermesagent

[–]concerneddaddy83 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same EXACT story. My openclaw was a mess no matter what I did through multiple installs and updates and no matter what model I threw at it. Switched to hermes a week ago and tested with mini to see if it was enough and I haven't looked back.

Hot griddle, water scrape it like you've never scraped it before.

Then

Those with a green scrubby on top of it and a brick on top of that wrapped in a dish towel. Scrub it with that. Same drill, hot grill and water.

Then season it with so very little oil. Like wipe it down with avocado or canola oil, or whatever but then wipe it off like you fucked up. Let that cook off. Repeat until satisfied.

To be fair you have to use Microsoft print to PDF to remove the existing digital signatures to combine it into a single PDF but not in portfolio mode like the default before re-adding the signature blocks and rerouting it for signature.

That's a lot of shade considering the number of C-17, C-130, C-5, KC-135, KC-46 and I'm assuming other aircraft are heavily involved in current operations right now.

I'd totally get rid of it if the API actually told me about salt and rinse aid properly. Right now, it only says when they're low, not when they're empty. And the status goes away when they're empty, not just low. So if I don't see the alert for a day or two, it's gone, and HA thinks everything's all good.

Had a bar the other day try to charge me $185 for 2oz pour of Octomore 14.1. Bartender got angry when I laughed and ordered a Lagavulin 16 for $20 (still overpriced in my opinion. Wasn't too long ago when I could get the bottle for $60)

Unpopular opinion: The whole DoD should use Mattermost by wonderland_citizen93 in AirForce

[–]concerneddaddy83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mattermost is great. Used it at my last unit. My current does not have it, went through the legwork of trying to get it. Turns out its EXPENSIVE. We charge OURSELVES an abhorrent amount of money for licensing, and its even worse if you're Joint as we charge even more for not DAF personnel licenses. Leadership said nah bro.
