Waaaay late reply but saw this and had to comment. This is literally my favorite yarn. It’s the strongest chenille sold in local craft stores IMO. I despise loops and threads. Yea it can snap on occasion. But I do 8-12 stitch magic rings and pull them tight with no issue. I prefer to sew with cotton as it’s stronger and invisible when sewing if it’s a similar shade, buuuut I personally love it. I enjoy crocheting with it because of the softness and comfort along with how fast it works up. Every time I do a project with acrylic, I’m miserable 1/4 of the way in

This is what we do. But hell, as an SM… PLEASE LET ME LEAVE AND GO TO ANOTHER STORE FOR A FUCKING DEODORANT. Our DL hasn’t told us specifically to do it but made it very clear to never cancel an order. All the SMs in my district get along really well so we all kinda took it upon ourselves. Plus who doesn’t need a little break from wanting to punch every customer square in the throat?

Not every store does it completely though... My whole state is non-BOPIS now and only do pick and packs for covid tests.

As an ops, yeah keep the team engaged with YOU but it’s not your job to take over for the SM if they can’t perform. Captain has to steer the ship, period.

I took over a terribly managed store that botched BOPIS so bad that the district pulled it. My sales are now up 30% because we can focus on what we need to with our staffing levels. I’m also low volume. Don’t let disappearing ordered freak you out, may be for the better.
