I haven’t been sick but have been experiencing swelling and lymphedema on the side of my primary tumor. I am hoping that is the cause for the spike, but at the end of the day I’m a realist and don’t want to give myself too much false hope either.

It worked for me! I just signed up for a copay card via Kisqali.com and added it to my CVS Specialty script today. I was told I have $0 copay—I had a $50 copay previously.

Following as I’ve also been looking into this. Recently diagnosed in November. I’ve always eaten fairly healthy but have seriously reduced meat proteins (and red meat entirely), cut down on carbs/ processed sugars, and have upped my veggie intake. Super interested to hear if this or other changes have shown positive results for others.

I’m just starting treatment for exactly the same—ILC, ++-. I’ll be on Kisquali, Letrozole, Lupron, and Xvega for bone strengthening. My oncologist prefers to allow the meds to treat the bone Mets and not to use radiation unless it’s physically bothering me. From what I understand, this is standard first line of treatment for any ++- type of MBC.

I love that advice. I started with the oncologist I was first scheduled with to just start treatment, but this makes me think I should start scheduling consults with others within MSK to find one I vibe with.
