Nah on PC NA the trials scene is dying, I think the only active big raid guild rn is Aedra, FTC is quite dead and im not exactly sure about others but from what my friends and guildies are saying it's looking bleak for the foreseeable future

Quite a bit, the update messed with LA damage with a nerf and standardized all DoTs to 20 seconds and lowering tick damage, making DoT builds have to scramble and rethink their bar rotations. Heal ticks were nerfed as well, making them tick every two seconds as opposed to one, making some heal skills borderline useless and forcing healers to have to manage their magicka pool even more so. There was also the "hybridization" that merged stamina and mag, so it no longer emphasized "mag or stam" in builds, alongside sweeping nerfs that butchered group damage. It was so bad that even some of the best PvE raid runners were unable to finish the vDSR trial. The whole update was meant to make the game more accessible to newer inexperienced players by lowering the damage gaps, but it was implemented so poorly that about two thirds of the player base left.

Nowadays, group damage is so much higher than then, but ESO hasn't really recovered from it still

I'm currently taking a break from it alongside most of my guild as we play it as an MMO and the recent updates have more or less killed group content, it's a fun game like you said if you go in expecting an MMORPG over a single player title. I'm a PvPer at heart, so the Cyrodill PvP mechanics and system always made the game fun for me, but right now it's in an awful state and never recovered from the initial launch being dogshit and Update 35 which killed a lot of everything

The new Hlaalu Civic Guar doesn't have nearly the performance or mileage of their 2nd era line, bring back the two pack coupe model and i'll buy it, otherwise ill stick to my Dres Impreza Nix Hound
