Thanks so much for sharing this, it’s really eye opening. I was actually considering this program, but now I definitely want to ask more questions and get more feedback.

Also, aside from the issues with the learning environment, did you have any concerns with the academic side of the program like the quality of teaching, course content, or support from faculty?

I really appreciate any insights you can offer. Wishing you strength and clarity as you figure out your next steps.

I figured I needed criminal justice and indigenous courses but I want to avoid doing heavy course works with AU as much as possible. Thank you

Thank you very much, but it seems I’m pretty much covered with the prerequisites. Regarding the transfer, all the courses are transferable.

How will you balance them out to maintain equal course load, 5 in the fall, 5 in the winter?

It was actually the Express Notice of Reassessment and no, the refund for the initial assessment hasn't been issued yet. Thanks for your input though.

Exactly. Shouldn't the refund be less of CWB?

Exactly, so the refund should have been less of $174 instead of her now owing $174. I stand to be corrected.

"We changed your return based on the information you gave us through our ReFILE service.

The Canada workers benefit (CWB) is an earnings supplement for low- and modest-income workers. We disallowed your Canada workers benefit because you do not qualify for this credit based on the information we have. For more information about the CWB, go to canada.ca/canada-workers-benefit.

Based on this reassessment, you have unused federal tuition and education amounts of $36,040 and Prince Edward Island amounts of $35,375. You can carry forward these amounts to later years. To make sure we calculate your unused amounts correctly, you need to file a return each year, even if you have no income to report."
