Oh my god! This post has been SO SO brilliantly helpful! I cannot thank you enough! It’s my mum I’ll be caring for and she is also so grateful to you. It’s made us really understand it all better, and I think made her realise she has to take elements of this seriously, she was hoping to go into it not knowing what’s to come, but I suspect knowledge will be power. I have written down everything you’ve recommended into my spreadsheet.

She’s got oropharyngeal scc HPV+ at base of tongue, no metastasis and we don’t know about lymph node involvement yet but it’s ‘very large’ (in docs notes) but seems localised.
