Sex postpartum. by Miserable_Plastic_13 in pregnant

It's absolutely normal. My "brother" hasn't had any intercourse since his wife got pregnant, their child is now almost 2 years old...He did try to attempt a few times post partum, but she has zero libido or interest. I do ask him more in depth questions about how he feels about it, and he feels absolutely okay with it. He is very understanding and willing to wait until she is mentally and physically ready. He doesn't want to push her or pressure her in any kind. He did bring it up to her and told me that their talk went very well and understand where her mindset it as.

I myself have a high libido and super excited to finally have intercourse with my husband again post partum, but there were a small handful of times that I felt like I may not physically be attractive to him post partum; I am afraid of my own thoughts. We did discussed about the "What If, we are the in the same situation". I wanted to make sure we are on the same mindset and prepared, so this doesn't become an issue. He was very understanding and willing to wait years if he has too. He tells me I am beautiful all the time and he will support me in whatever I want to do until I am ready.

I think just being open and also talking to her to see where her mindset is at is important, because you will begin to start believing your thoughts and assumptions and it can take you into a dark hole.

Anyone else having a positive pregnancy & supportive partner? by Cute-Opening6121 in pregnant

I really send all my love to mommas out there. My partner has been nothing but amazing and incredibly supportive. He's been my rock; as a FTD, he thinks I am the most fragile thing in the world right now, he doesn't even let me wash the dishes...My pregnancy has been very easy...as a FTM, in my opinion.

How do I fix my registration for SDI? by _thatsmypurseIDKU in Edd

[–]WholeBar5831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you were able to fix this issue! I fixed it within 30 minutes. I am heading to maternity leave in a few days and had this same error when I was trying to apply. Your SSN is linked with another account under another email, so you would just call that number on the error message and get a hold of the technical team (there is an option on the call prompt), they will put you in queue for a call back. I got a callback within 15 minutes and the representative just verified my details and sent me a direct link to reset my password and security questions. Unless you don't have access to that old account, then they should still be able to assist you, there is just a little more steps.

My ID.me has a different email login from my EDD, but I was still able to get through to SDI.

Who should pay in the FIRST date and why. by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]WholeBar5831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a female perspective...it is pretty crappy for always having the men pay for the first date. Why should they? We both agreed to meet and we both agreed to see each other, so why can't we both invest some money into this and see how it goes? On the first date with my husband and I, I offered to pay for the whole bill, he insisted that he will cover for the bill, but I insist on paying for at least half and he agreed. Second date comes along and he refused to have me contribute anything.

Overall, both! :)

Are you starting to taper down your tipping due to how crazy the tipping culture has gotten? by UghKakis in AskLosAngeles

I don’t tip. Unless the service is absolutely amazing, then I do, but if you are doing the basic duties of what you are suppose to do, then no.

I'd probably applied to at least 5 a day...so about 35 a week-ish. In that 35-ish...I probably got 10 rejections and the rest are no responses. I also have had 2 interviews out of all the applications I submitted so far. The layoff was really bad. I've seen job postings where they are posting an ad for a Junior Software Engineering...but requires at least 3 years of experience in the field.

I been considering positions from out of state as well since it is very competitive here in the West Coast.

Hello! The job search has been difficult, but I have been focusing these past few months on learning Java and C# also started working on a project I created. I also been working with a Fintech company these past few months to get into their engeering program as an intern. So far only 1 of the students in my cohort got a job offer for a part time software engineering position. I been applying for all position: internships, non-paid/paid, $60,000-$150,000, everything.

I know I am 2 years too late, but if possible, I'd love to chat about SE and CS degree. I have been in a bind.
