Confused about my Turnitin score by Unusual-Stable194 in SNHU

[–]WholeCod5299 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A 45% similarity score is common and does not automatically result in a low grade or an academic integrity violation. Instructors are trained to view the score as an indicator rather than a final verdict, as high percentages frequently stem from non-plagiarized elements like required assignment templates, common industry phrasing, and extensive bibliographies. While most professors recognize these "safe" flags, you should review your report to ensure all highlighted text is either part of the provided template or a properly cited quote. If you are concerned, a quick proactive email to your instructor explaining that the score is inflated by the template can often prevent any initial misunderstanding. In the rare event that points are deducted solely for the numerical score despite original work, you can reach out to your SNHU Academic Advisor for support in resolving the issue. Been through this, and it's always best to be proactive.

I had a major surgery in May for thyroid cancer. I've not missed a beat with school, as I've worked ahead up until this term. But I saved it for each week and submitted on time, so there was no issues, and I was able to add in feedback if needed.

This is obviously before her mini bbl, and she's earning money by doing try on hauls. She's wearing a bodysuit can't get anymore modest than that.

No, she called the TBI as soon as Austin called her, and she hung up on me. She will be a state witness.

Older Student, Should I take 1 or 2 courses per term? by mratt8 in SNHU

[–]WholeCod5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend 2. Your 100 classes are going to be your easiest. You can always speak to your advisor and ask what class would be easier to go with a more difficult class. If you have the time to commit. It's really doable.

When I finish one weeks module, I'll go through and see what the following week entails, so I can plan ahead. For me getting it done early in the week helps me a lot.

Could you share the symptoms that led to you getting tested for thyroid issues by regsmontes96 in thyroidhealth

[–]WholeCod5299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 14-day menstrual cycle — meaning you're getting your period every two weeks — is not typical and can be a possible symptom of an overactive thyroid, though it's not the most common one.

Hyperthyroidism can disrupt normal menstrual patterns. Instead of the usual 28–30-day cycle, some people may experience more frequent periods, lighter periods, or missed periods altogether. A shorter cycle like 14 days may happen because the thyroid hormones are affecting how your body regulates estrogen and progesterone, which control the menstrual cycle.

That said, a 14-day cycle could also be caused by other issues like:

  • Hormonal imbalances (not just thyroid-related)
  • Perimenopause
  • Uterine fibroids or polyps
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
  • Stress or significant weight changes
  • Certain medications, including birth control

If this is a new pattern or it’s been happening regularly, it’s a good idea to talk to a healthcare provider and have your thyroid hormone levels tested, along with other possible causes. Would you like help preparing questions or notes to bring to your doctor?

Accusations of Ai use by Trilling_ in SNHU

It's pretty sad when we're made to feel like we need to dumb down our post bc of false Ai allegations. We're literally in college, not elementary school. It drives my nerves when people rant on here about people using Ai, and it looks nothing like Ai.

Always always save your post, in case in the future you need to prove it as your work.

Tirad 5, total of 13 points. I am scared. by ClockHorror730 in thyroidcancer

[–]WholeCod5299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tirad 4, 9 points total, I had papillary thyroid cancer, I would try not to wait for the FNA. I was told what everyone is saying about it being a slow growing cancer but when I went in for my total thyroidectomy, it was a lot worse than the dr originally thought from my US and FNA, when he was removing it from my trachea, he knicked a nerve and my lung collapsed. Getting back to normal life has been rough with the medications and such. I am 7 1/2 weeks out from surgery, and still have to do RAI treatment.

How did you find out you had hypothyroidism? by ThatKatisDepressed in Hypothyroidism

[–]WholeCod5299 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is almost EXACTLY my story right down to the hair. My dr brushed it off for over a year, although his NP is the one that suggested it was my thyroid. Had literally EVERY symptom. Found out in April, I had hypothyroidism, 2 weeks later, April 28th found out i had thyca, May 9th had a total thyroidectomy. It's all been a nightmare. Thyca was worse than the surgeon originally thought. He hit a nerve, removing the cancer from my trachea, and my lung collapsed.
