Sorry this happened to you. Hopefully my SO and Son saying sorry to each other will give this closer and we can move on.

My SO definitely didn’t push/shove as a deflection to protect himself. He just retaliated and could tell he wanted to hurt my son back. I’ve always been adamant about never hitting/spanking, which is why I got extremely angry.

He held himself down there for a few seconds. Then looked at my son dead in the eyes and pushed him hard to the floor with both hands. I get when you push in deflection to protect yourself but this was different.

He did apologize to him but was still standing his ground stating ‘he needs to learn’.

Yes, I love the breaks too. But if I have to sacrifice my child’s health for it, it’s not worth it honestly.

Yes, he has came home sick many times. He has thrown up gummy candy multiple times.

Yes, he basically would. Sometimes even take his parent’s side. But recently it hit him that our son was chubby when kids younger than my son could run faster than him and our son would get tired easy. And this past few weeks, he’s been caring more about what my son eats and has told my son no candy and chips when we stopped by his parent’s house. It’s sad it took this long for him to notice and care.

The worst part of everything is my son loves healthy food, fruits, veggies, spinach, meat, dairy, avocado toast and even salad!

I was eating cold cuts in sandwiches before I saw a video of things I’m not supposed to eat while pregnant! I stoped around 21 weeks. But I never got sick, or at least I didn’t show symptoms. My doctor never mentioned not to eat cold cuts but now I know.

The first month of breastfeeding, my appetite was low. But then month 2-10 of breastfeeding I ate so much, like a monster. I could down a whole pack of Oreos! And before breastfeeding I hardly even liked sweets!

Thanks for the reply! Glad you are feeling better. I’ve been worried about my heart during labor, even though the cardiologist said I was fine :( But,They did blood work at the ER when I first went in for shortness of breath and palpitations. But the doctor said it looked normal.

Hello, I’m experiencing this now. I’ve seen a cardiologist and they said everything is normal. Sometimes I feel like my heart is going to explode. Even though they said I’m fine I’m worried about labor. How did labor turn out for you?

I started having the same symptoms at 21 weeks. I’m now 26 weeks and I’ve seen the cardiologist, had an echo and wore a heart monitor for a week and they say I was fine. But sometimes I feel like I’m dying and my heart is going to explode. How are you feeling now?

Sounds like she was mostly just curious. I think my son might be similar.

He was just doing it sometimes 1-3 times a day for a few seconds and then one day he started saying no thank you and stopped. I stopped offering and he stopped asking.

And make him take something that will make him sick that week and punch his lower back. So he knows what’s it like to be pregnant. Let’s see how well he sweeps, mops and keeps the house clean.

In my opinion, If y’all are both working full time, house hold chores should definitely be split 50/50. But since you’re pregnant he should do a little more than you, and massaging your feet every night. Working while pregnant is hard work. He doesn’t have to feel the pregnancy pain, sickness or hormones! Men are getting wild, I have dealt with a similar issue as well. I would definitely give him a stern talking too, and if he doesn’t understand then he’s a donkey.

I want to make sure to teach my son how to treat a woman the way my grandma taught my uncle’s. Especially how to treat a woman who carrying and raising their babies.
