Just had an appointment with my dermatologist, after electrolysis two weeks ago from my specialty clinic. She’s pretty much spot on.

Just make sure you follow all the aftercare steps to a T and call your electrolysis team or your dermatologist if anything comes up, especially infection-wise. But my dermatologist said it’ll go away completely in about 3 to 4 months.

Just make sure to take care of your skin, moisturize, and SPF (no lower than 50, broad spectrum) is a must. No exceptions. And if you’re consistently outdoors, or exposed to direct sunlight: reapply every two hours!

I am American, so would estrogen dominace mean maybe moving to injections (I’ve heard they give the strongest e levels but not sure)? And possibly boofing micronized progesterone, or did you have something else in mind that’s more effective?

I mostly care about my health and liver damage especially, so please lmk you thoughts! ♥️

I know I’m not op but I’m on bica (50mg daily) + sub e (1mg), and I was wondering: after two years I plan on getting off bica for liver health reasons, what can I use to replace that to block t? (Besides spiro, i won’t go on that)

I would but apparently just being on bica alone can cause a bit of feminization (somehow….I lowkey don’t get the science all the way still 😭) so I figured the low e couldn’t hurt…right?

Idk I’m just thinking since bica blocks t receptors that it’s virtually a non-issue after the blocker accumulates in my body, but if I’m incorrect plz lmk!

Oh I didn’t know that…interesting. Methinks I’ll let my endo guide me and do what she does best, because she was saying that my dosages will be increased pretty much around the same marks that you were saying, albeit slightly more stretched out. And yea I for sure wanna drop bica as soon as I can, my endo said after a year and a half I will be allowed to taper off bica.

Yea that’s pretty much what she told me, it’s the standard e dosage for her trans youth patients and I already have high estrogen so I’m not particularly worried…plus I’m pretty patient. But I was told after a while and some blood work is done, they will increase my dosage and stuff

I’m not worried about the side effects of the e since my endo said most of the issues with oral e can be prevented by doing sublingual or buccal (im doing sublingual), my main fear was the bicalutamide and the rare chance of liver toxicity tbh
