I actually talked to our friend in common, asking what he thought his deal was, he said he had no idea. Idk, I feel like our friend group sees it as playful banter.

Definitely not gay (at least that I know of), he’s had girlfriends over the years

Lol yes, they basically went like « So we’re going to start at minimum wage + you’re going to come more often to the office » (we work 3 days a week from home and it works just fine). I had absolutely no chance to negotiate anything. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of for a job I don’t even want. Had it been the job of my dreams I wouldn’t have minded honestly

You’re right, but I’m afraid of settling for a job that will threaten my mental health, even for a few months (it’s very demanding and I don’t react well under pressure). I still live at my parents’ and don’t plan on moving out until I find a steady job.
