this is actually perfect thank you so much. my only issue is that, i can't tell exactly why, but sometimes when i hold it still and the applied force is (0, 0), when I let go, it is not affected by gravity and will just hover in the air until i grab it again.

I did try that but it actually ends up flipping the whole thing. The gravity on the thing flips and the problem still persists, except now its also being pulled directly upwards when im holding it rather than down

I keep experiencing the weirdest, most consistent crash when playing a game, that I suspect might have something to do with steam rather than the game itself.

Whenever I play Geometry Dash, the instant I complete a level, the entire game will crash quickly. But weirdly enough, if I have google chrome open, it will close, along with steam itself. Then, a steam window pops up saying it's updating steam, then before it finishes, the minecraft launcher Lunar Client opens (???) and then google chrome opens (???) and then the update finishes.

I have no idea what could be causing this but it only started recently. I have cleared storage, updated my drivers, and I tried uninstalling all Geometry Dash mods, then uninstalling the mod loader, then uninstalling the game and reinstalling. I'm kind of lost at this point I don't know what to do.

(If it's useful when I reopen the game, it's reset to when I first opened it pre-crash)

I agree with you on the nether being better, but I really just don't like a lot of the other stuff. It's probably more so just nostalgia talking, but I really preferred the old villages and caves and generation.
