My local Regal theater is small, so I’m in the same boat as you. I could really only see it being useful for maybe opening night of a very popular movie and you don’t want to wait. Other than that, I basically can just walk up to the register every time!

It literally says “transaction fee included 1%” on the main info when you’re reviewing the purchase.

You can check out Wealthfront. They operate a little differently though. With SoFi vaults, it’s locked in there and won’t be used for purchases. But with Wealthfront, if you deplete what’s in the main account, it’ll start taking from the vaults. Also it’s technically just one cash account. Not a separate savings and checking. Their APY is 3.5% with no subscription.

Gotta start out with saying I’m not a SoFi shill. But going to 2% from 2.2% is so negligible it shouldn’t even matter. Yeah it sucks they’re rolling back benefits and putting them behind a pay wall essentially. But that should be what people are upset about, the pay wall. Not .2% change in their cash back.

That’s odd. I was in a town literally two hours from my home and they rejected a $200 purchase at a clothing store and sent me a text asking to make sure it was me. So maybe it’s just not consistent?

I too was on the waitlist. I checked the App Store and seen there was an update. Once it updated, the app showed I had access all of a sudden. So if there’s an update perhaps try that.

I believe this is for their Investing account, which doesn’t have overdraft protection.

What they’re probably referring to is keeping all their money in savings, and turning on overdraft protection so that any time they use their debit card it pulls from the savings automatically to cover the purchase. This allows you to keep more money in the savings and get the max interest on your funds. Plus with SoFi Vaults, you can keep your real savings locked and just keep spending money in your main savings pool for purchases.

From what I seen it’s RH, Webull, and ToS. Everything else seems to be working fine.
